3. Powerfilm Rollable Solar Charger.

This portable solar panel battery charge system can be rolled and stowed inside our bags. The more expensive models can power a laptop for half an hour for every hour of exposure to sunlight. Can be used as a battery charger for all our gadgets at home as well during clear days.

4. Husqvarna Automower Solar Hybrid.

The Husqvarna solar robot lawn mower is the RoboCop of lawns. It’s not a full solar-powered lawn mower but only get a boost of energy from the sun while mowing grass through its solar panels. Sorry but it is not available for Christmas, February of 2009 is close enough though.

Being paranoid about our electrical consumption can benefit the environment. The Kill-A-Watt electronic usage monitor will help us keep a close watch on voltage, kilowatt-hours, and leakage current used by connected electronics and appliances.

The casing’s side panels are made of, yes, bamboo. Aside from that, it’s claim to green fame includes 90% less electicity than conventional hard-drives and enclosure is recycled aluminum.

8. Philips Eco TV.

Lead-free and flame-retardant construction. Packaging and manuals made from recycled materials. The kicker? The TV adjusts power consumption as the need arise, the darker the room, the less energy used. A dimmable backlight and power saver mode can drive its power consumption down to 75 watts.

9. Voltaic Generator Laptop Bag.

The fabric of this solar power charging bag is made entirely from recycled soda bottles. A day’s worth of sunlight can fully charge a 17 watt battery pack.

10. Nokia 3110 Evolve.

An eco-friendly phone? Nokia seems to have succeded in making one. The outer shell is made from unpainted bio-sourced materials that are 50 percent renewable. The AC charger beats Energy Star power usage standards by 95 percent and draws almost no electricity when the phone isn’t actually charging. Nokia made it perfectly usable as well with a web browser, e-mail client, camera, MP3 player and FM radio.

I like to put the portable solar panel battery charge system and the Kill-A-Watt electronic usage monitor in my wish list this Christmas
These are great to have in our home, especially now that electricity cost is on the rise. I hope somebody will give me these soon

By the way, Your ads at the top are just too much, More ads does not mean more money. More ads will reduce the cost per ad and eventually you will earn less. Are you getting 0.02 cents per click on some ads..? Then remove some ads and see the difference,…

Thanks for the critique. We were testing that ad lay-out for a week. There was not much difference in the clicks and it looked cluttered to.
We have restored it to 1 ad unit only.

I’m not a fan of Dell brand but I really like the design of the Studio Hybrid. And that Voltaic Laptop Bag is not really useful. It’s too have and you cannot place it like on your image because it’s will flip in a moment.

I know of places where that laptop bag could be useful and forgiven for it’s weight.
